Assistant or Associate Professor – Division of Endocrinology and Metabolism, Department of Medicine, University Health Network (UHN)/Sinai Health System (SHS)
The Department of Medicine, Division of Endocrinology and Metabolism at the University Health Network (UHN) is seeking to recruit a Clinician-Scientist with expertise clinical epidemiology and population studies in diabetes for a permanent position. Graduate work in health profession's education is preferred.
The successful applicant must be eligible for a full-time clinical academic appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor. Effective start date is October 1, 2021, or a mutually agreeable date.
The combined division of Endocrinology at UHN/Mount Sinai Hospital (MSH) consists of over 20 full-time members and an additional 18 affiliate members located across all UHN and MSH sites, with active clinical and research programs across the full breadth of endocrinology and metabolism.
The successful candidate should have appropriate experience and a track record or postgraduate training in the specified research expertise, such that they will be able to develop and maintain a productive independent research program. The successful applicant must hold MD and FRCPC qualifications (or equivalent specialist designation), and have, or be eligible for, licensure in Ontario.
Academic rank, salary and contractual arrangements will be commensurate with the qualifications and experience of the successful candidate. Estimated remuneration will be in the range of $195,000 - $240,000 per year. Applications will be accepted until July 15, 2021.
