Emergency Medicine: CAEP EMAF grant winner- Dr Catherine Varner
Emergency Medicine
Dr. Catherine Varner recently won a $10,000 CAEP EM Advancement Fund (EMAF) Grant for her upcoming trial: “Challenging the dogma: A randomized controlled trial comparing prescribed light exercise to standard management for emergency department patients with acute mild traumatic brain injury."
This award is presented annually to three physicians who aim to improve emergency patient care through their research.
