Virtual Clinical Medical Education Workshop #1: Virtual Teaching Clinic Workflow - Optimizing Processes and Experiences

The COVID-19 pandemic has required a significant proportion of ambulatory medical patient encounters transition to virtual settings. These have become the de facto clinical environments where many residents now participate in care delivery.

Faculty members in the Department of Medicine are dedicated teachers who want to uphold a high standard of teaching and supervision in these new virtual clinical environments. However, many of them remain unsure about how to set up their clinics to support resident education, or how to effectively supervise one or more trainees and teach effectively while delivering care virtually.

Two 90-minute accredited interactive virtual workshops are now available to support faculty members in the Department of Medicine to address these needs.
