Spring 2018 Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Research and Development Grant Program

We are pleased to announce the call for applications for the Spring 2018 Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Research and Development Grant Program. Grants up to a maximum of $5,000 are awarded to fund research relevant to the mission of CPD at University of Toronto. The grants are intended to support research and scholarly activities focused on the continuing professional development of practicing healthcare professionals. Continuing professional development (CPD) encompasses varied educational and developmental activities which licensed, practicing healthcare professionals undertake to maintain and enhance their knowledge, skills, performance and relationships in the provision of health care. Research and scholarly activities aimed at undergraduate, graduate, postgraduate or fellowship programs are not eligible for funding through this grant.

The CPD Research & Development Grants support projects that either directly relate to the planning, implementation, delivery and evaluation of continuing education for health professionals (educational innovations) or that generate new knowledge in these areas (research projects). Collaboration amongst health professions is encouraged.
