Call for nominations: 2018 Department of Medicine William Goldie Prize and Travel Award in Education

The William Goldie Prize and Travel Award in Education was established in 1945 by an anonymous donor to honour the late Dr. William Goldie, who held a faculty appointment in the Department of Medicine. The education prize — consisting of a commemorative certificate and travel grant — is awarded annually to a member of the department who is within 10 years of appointment to the department and who has made a contribution of notable merit to the advancement of sound knowledge in internal medicine through teaching. Previous winners of the award are not eligible for re-nomination.
Nominations must be received by the Education Awards Committee by Monday, March 26, 2018 at 11:59 PM via firstname.lastname@example.org and include:
- An email with the candidate’s name and brief comment (e.g. 300 words) describing reason for nomination.
- Up-to-date candidate curriculum vitae.
