Welcome to CREST - a Collaboration of Researchers, Educators, Scholars and Teachers in the Department of Medicine. Our main goal is to foster creative collaborations in education scholarship and research throughout the Department. Through regular monthly meetings during the academic year, we plan to build upon our terrific community of scholars interested in education, and to enhance the quality and quantity of our scholarly output. Each meeting will include a `formal` agenda item on education scholarship and research along with ample time for the constructive exchange of ideas, formation of collaborations and troubleshooting of projects.

The next CREST meeting will take place Friday May 18TH, 9-11 am, at the DOM.
Our planned agenda is as follows:
1. Writing for Publication
Shiphra Ginsburg and Ryan Brydges will lead a short seminar (60 min) focused on practical and strategic tips for writing for publication in medical education journals. Please bring (or send ahead) your questions or struggles with writing and we’ll try our best to incorporate them.
2. Open discussion by participants regarding ongoing projects, ideas for new projects or conference submissions, requests for collaboration or advice on research/scholarship, etc
3. Review of CREST to-date and ideas for next academic year.
**If you have a particular item or project you’d like to discuss on May 18th, please let Ryan or Shiphra know ahead of time to make sure we leave room on the agenda.
