Subspecialty Training Programs

The Department of Medicine offers accredited residency training leading to specialist certification by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in 14 subspecialties and 4 specialties.  Subspecialty training begins on completion of 3 years of residency training in North America in an accredited core Internal Medicine program.  Training in the specialities - Dermatology, Emergency Medicine, Neurology and Physiatry - begins on graduation from a recognized medical school.
