PGY3 Commercialization of Medicine

This session will be held at 60 Murray St., 3rd floor, Classrooms A & B, in the Cooper Medical Education Centre. This is located directly behind Mount Sinai and PMH.

Discussion of the healthcare industry, its pervasive influence over clinical and academic medicine, followed by discussion of related conflict of interest and professionalism. The talk is aimed to provide unique insight into the workings of this complex industry to better prepare trainees for interactions they are bound to have throughout training and practice.
