Canadian Association for Medical Education (CAME)
This spring, Dr. Maniate was re-elected Secretary of the Canadian Association for Medical Education (CAME). CAME is a grassroots organization representing over 850 medical educators dedicated to the success and improvement of medical education in Canada.
Legend Award for Excellence
Dr. Maniate received this award in recognition of his demonstration of commitment to strive for the best in care, education and research and the quality of work life.
Dr. Martin Schreiber – 2011 OCUFA Teaching Award
Dr. Schreiber received this province-wide teaching award from the Ontario Confederation of University Faculty Associations in recognition of, through dedication and spirit of innovation, his exceptional contributions to the quality of higher education in Ontario.
Dr. Minna Woo – 2011 CSEM Diabetes Young Investigator Grant.
This grant was awarded to Dr. Woo on behalf of the Canadian Society of Endocrinology and Metabolism for her demonstration of excellence as an independent investigator in the area of diabetes or related research.
