Presenter: Dr. Bill Coke, University of Alberta Objectives: 1. To understand the current structure and organization of hospital-based clinics by examining their historical roots. 2. To identify logistic barriers implementing effective teaching programs in the clinics, and some potential ways to breach them. 3. To appreciate the lessons learned from teaching on the wards, and how to apply them to the clinics. 4. To explore alternative teaching strategies to meet the unique demands of the clinics.
