Objectives

1. To discuss the role of Sunnybrook & Women's as a designated provincial Regional Stroke Centre, and the impact of a Toronto city-wide EMS prehospital redirect protocol for acute stroke.
2. To review our acute stroke treatment protocols, illustrative case examples of stroke thrombolysis, and an audit of our tPA experience.
3. To outline our Regional Stroke Prevention Clinic services and current clinical trials.
