LEARNING OBJECTIVES: By the end of these rounds participants will be able to

1.      Illustrate how the teaching of physical diagnosis can be improved through scholarship and simulation

2.      Discuss how simulator based instruction in auscultation can affect clinical resource utilization

3.      Incorporate clinical context in the teaching of cardiac physical examination skills

4.      Explore the problematic effects of simulation on empathy and communication skills
