1. To discuss a complicated clinical case and provide a rational approach to diagnosis
2. To review the available evidence on the diagnostic strategies involved in evaluating fever of unknown origin
3. To highlight the importance of longitudinal follow-up, history and physical examination in arriving at a diagnosis
4. To provide an overview of the management of a specific etiology of fever of unknown origin
